There is no arguing the fact that we all love to go on holiday, but unfortunately the airport is the worst part of the whole trip.
9/11 has done us no favours when it comes to the airport, nowadays the delays seem to be even longer and people are certainly more stressed out than they were before. One of the worst things about the airport has to be the security checks that we all must now endure. Of course it is totally understandable that everyone must put their bags through a scanner as nobody wants something bad happening to the plane and risk losing their lives, but do they really have to treat everybody like criminals and be so rude?
On top of this, they seem to enjoy throwing your bags around as much as they can? It seems that whenever you see your baggage at the airport, it is either being thrown around by a person or a machine. There never appears to be any padding when the cases fly down the belt at your destination, meaning any valuables will surely be broken.
People who try to get onto the aeroplane first are such a big pain. Why bother? Passengers like to try and get on first, even when their row number has not been called. This obviously annoys the people who have genuinly been called, who are then stuck at the back of a long queue. Why do they do this? The plane will go when all passengers are on board and not before, surely the less time you spend on the plane the better as by now you would have already read the paper/magazines and worked your way through your entire playlist on your Mp3 player.
Unfortunately if you want to get to your favourite destination, this is something you have to put up with. If this all happens to you just remember that you are off on holiday whether that is on one of those USA tours or an Alaskan cruise you are sure to have a good time. That is of course if you have managed to navigate the airport!
