There are many reasons why people go on a cruise or a holiday. Some people just love travelling hence they visit different places each year. Some people are looking for sunny weather, great bars with awesome night life. People from the UK normally look for sunny weather as we don’t get much sun over here. But to be honest we had have lovely sunny weather past few days, and it also ends with gray clouds end of the day around 5 p.m, so that cancels it out. That’s why people look for luxury cruises or holidays for better weather than the UK.
I was born and bred in a warm asian country and have been based in the UK for over 15 years now. My aim has always been to get out of UK every year and visit warmer places in Europe, US, Australia or Asia. I choose Royal Caribbean cruises atleast once a year and yes you are right I do indeed get paid pretty well. Caribbean is one of my favourite destination and I take my partner there every year to celebrate our anniversary as we got married there in Bermuda. So there is another reason why people go on a holiday for personal reasons.
Some people live in a different country and their family are based in another, so that is another reason for a holiday to visit your family. For example, my parents are in Nepal and I am based in the UK and some of my other families are spread around in Australia, America, Singapore and so on. Sometimes I book a holiday to Australia, sometimes to Nepal and sometimes to America. I tend to go visit my family atleast once every year. Sometimes if I want some piece and quiet with my wife I go on cruising trip to Caribbean for peace and quiet.
Another reason for a holiday is to take a break from work. Some people have stressful jobs, so they want to get away from that environment, which I think is a very good idea as sometime it can do your health some damage.
